Procurement Technical Assistance
The Nebraska Business Development Center's Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) is a non-profit organization that helps Nebraska businesses grow and generate new business by locating opportunities for business with the government. The NBDC PTAC offers free counseling services to businesses in Nebraska wishing to compete and win contracts with the government, and nominal fee-based services for locating daily bidding opportunities. The program is partially funded by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), and in 2009, helped Nebraska businesses generate $104 million in revenue from government contracts..
NBDC's Procurement Technical Assistance Center does not award contracts, nor does is guarantee that the client will receive any contracts. In the event of a dispute between the client and a government agency, NBDC/PTAC will not be held accountable.
