Upcoming Event: City of Omaha Presents the 2006 Contractors Trade Fair

The City of Omaha Human Rights & Relations Department is hosting the 2006 Contractors Trade Fair at the downtown DoubleTree Hotel Grand Ballroom on Thursday, February 16 th.

The trade fair will provide an opportunity for small businesses to interact with the City of Omaha’s prime contractors, contracting officers, and technical personnel. Participants will give valuable information on existing and future contracting needs for the city.

Other highlights of the trade fair include: a listing of Omaha’s upcoming contracts for 2006, information from business oriented technical assistance organizations, examples of services, supplies and/or equipment commonly acquired by the city, and appointment opportunities with strategic decision makers and prime contractors.

Businesses that may benefit from the trade fair include but are not limited to: Construction, Electrical, Computers, Marketing, HVAC, Pest Control, and many more.

The program requires RSVP at (402) 444-5055 and is free of charge. Registration begins at 7 AM and the program will run from 8 AM until noon.
