National Business Center Should be in your Searches for Opportunities
If your government marketing activities are generally directed toward agencies of the Department of Interior, you may want to become very familiar with the National Business Center website maintained by that department.
The Department of the Interior organizations continue to post their procurement opportunities that exceed $25,000 at Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps). The National Business Center is used by the participating agencies to post additional opportunities that are less than $25,000, but the larger procurements are also posted on this site. Some of the participating agencies are requiring all of the agency procurements to be posted at this site.
Under the Bureau of Reclamation these agencies are posting procurement opportunities to the site:
Bureau of Indian Affairs
Additionally, other agencies that are using the National Business Center are:
Several of the agencies are making it even easier to search for opportunities by posting them from the regional offices of those organizations. As an example, if your company is interested in work posted for the Bureau of Reclamation in Western Nebraska and Wyoming, you could watch for procurement opportunities coming from the Great Plains Division office in Billings, Montana.
The searches can be accomplished from each individual agency, by issue or closing dates or by using the National American Industry Classification codes.
If you are tracking bid opportunities to find awards those are also posted on this site.
