Quality Assurance Plans & Other Training Opportunities

Quality Assurance plans can be very important in some government contracts, but sometimes small businesses are searching for information on how to begin writing a quality assurance plan. The Nebraska PTAC consultants heard of a new source for that information at a recent conference.

The Air Force Small Business Learning Center is an on-line training program set up to help small manufacturers be better contractors. The training program has several other modules that are available for free to the small business community. Other modules under the SB Manufacturing file folder include courses on Measurement Instruments, Reading Blueprints and Shop Math. These can be used by any person in your business who has access to the web.

Also in the Learning Center under the Small Business tab are courses on Small Business Marketing, How to Sell to the Air Force, Small Business Ethical Guidelines, Contingency Planning, Project Management and Source Approval Requirements.
